Thank you for your reply. But I am in QLD now. I have checked the :

1.MIGRATION REGULATIONS 1994 - REG 2.26A

2.ANZSCO 3 (and major group 3 (Trade)): Relevant Australian trade qualification as defined by reg 2.26A(6)_Skill requirement satisfied exceptional circumstances automatically treated as met.

But in ANZSCO it said i need an AQF Certificate III with 2 years on the job training. My tafe is two year full time study and only has a certificateIII.

I really confusing with these. Some one can help me out ?

Thank you

RSMS Carpenter

hi yimo,
I'm in your same situation, 2 years carpentry at tafe in Perth, I went to 4 different imm agents and honestly what i understood is that they don't really know coz we r the first with this new regulations, reading on the imm website about rsms direct stream looks like we r not elegible coz we don't have the 2 years on job training but apparently with a cert 4 our employer can sponsor us, sounds strange coz u can get a cert IV in OHS in 5 days course and skip the 2 years on job training!!! this things still not clear for me hope u got better info now and u can let me know cheers bro
