My timeline was: get IELTS done, get ACS done, gather remaining missing docs, apply for 175. Of course I've started gathering and translating the documents in August 2011 already. I've lodged the visa online on March 20th. I've applied for ICT Business Analyst, 261111 if I'm not mistaken.

that's great...so awaiting your turn for the visa :-)
did u try for a sponsorship between ACS/IELTS phase and the PR phase?
I heard it speeds up the application process.
I could see some state sponsorships opening up, can u go for a sponsorship even after applying PR and update DIAC if u get one?
What other documents do we require for PR filing (other than the list we used for ACS and IELTS score)?

Hello Guys,

Do we need to submit IELTS score card with DIAC applicatio? Is it mandatory to attach a report with application or it can be submitted in later stage when asked by DIAC people?
Regards
Vivek

Hello Folks,
My wife has done B.tech in Industrial engineering. She has 5.5 years of experience in IT (.Net Technology). She has done MCTS certification in Feb 2009. This certification is mentioned in vendor management as well. But it is also mentioned that this certification needs to be done after Aug 2009.
Can anyone please throw some more information in this regard.

1. If this is not applicable in her case, can she give the certification now and send the docs for ACS assessment?
2. As per my information, total 6 years of experience is required in case the degree is not in ICT. Will she qualify with 5.5 years of experience + MCTS certification?

Please reply as soon as possible as I want the assessment done before April.

Thanks & Regards,
Vivek.

hi anupam,

yes they would inquire into all work experiences. and they will require the reference letters in the same format for all the work exps u mention.
I agree it tough to get it (its tough to get from the current employer itself :-( , but if u cant get it, i dont think your relieving letters will suffice.
You might have to work with statutory declarations as metioned in the ACS procedures document (i believe they dont allow self declarations)
