I went through the Immi site and booklet and still have few questions.

1. I'm a low income earner such as $ 8000 per Annual per last year as i worked only 7 months. even this is year the figure will be around that. So as The sponsor will it be a problem ????

according to new rules they have removed Assurance of Support (AoS) requirement from Partner visas. So will My low income be a problem ????

2. I been overseas 4 months last year and it is going to be same this year. Will my absent in Australia for such time be a problem ????

Thank you Kindly.

Hi coolc,

I'm also from Sri Lanka and having been digging deep to find a native. I''ve also applied for partner visa sub class 309. First of all I'd like to say I'm so happy to see that you've receive your visa after such a stressful wait! From your posts it was quite evident that you were missing your wife so much! My current situ is somewhat similar to yours. And am going through the same stress! But as you've said correctly this forum have been giving so much of emotional support as well as knowledge. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Bunneybee.
