Smile Visa approved in a week!

Hi guys, I just opened the door and was Aus post .... thick envelope from immigration ...

I was shaking because I had applied for a partner visa 820 / 801 (onshore) the 5th of April and was granted a bridging visa when my current visa expires (the 24th of april)
I opened it and VISA GRANTED!!! I still cannot believe it ... I really thought they would take 1 year ...
plus... got all the copies back (If only I knew I would have put original, no certified copies of everything..)

I'm absolutely amazed by that ...
I'd say that immi people are extremely efficient and can read very very fast

I'm still shaking

Just a message for all of you and to give you strenght

My visa was granted in just under 3 months but even now, I'm still so jealous! And I'm so happy for you! I can't believe they were that fast!

Congratulations!
I'm just finalising my application and hoping to get in the post by next week. Can you tell me how you submitted your application? I've read on here that just putting all papers together in an envelope is the best way or did you put it in a file of some sort? Would be very greatful for any tips you have!!

In my case, I submitted everything in a stack with no staples or clips. I used a cover letter because I had documents that I still needed to submit but included a Table of Contents for the identity information (marriage certificate, copies of passports, etc) and then a separate Table of Contents for the evidence.
