Hi, I have just received my 100 together with my 309. Am I right to assume that I will not have to re-send documentation after 2 years? Thanks for clarifying...

Hello! I am new to this forum.

I am waiting for my 100 visa as well, after reading all your threads, seems that the average time is 6-8 months after eligible date. It's a long waiting time!

I have few questions, after the application submitted, is there any email/call from immi before the visa was granted? Do you need to do the health check again? i had done it before my 309 visa granted, but it had pasted 12 months. Anyone know?

Thanks!

Hi Khoo,

Welcome to the forum.

The immigration will contact you if they need more information/docs from you. you will receive the outcome straight if they need nothing from your end.
You don't need to do medical for the second stage 100/801 UNLESS they asked for it(very rare). The medical checks you did for 309 was for both 309/100 visas.

The wait is not unique to all cases, it varies from 5 months to 15 months based on the grants seen.

Hope these helps
Wish you the best in your PR stage,

Hassan

Thanks Hassan.

For the health check, it showed "required examination not yet determined" under the health assessment page, that's why I thought I have to do it again.

Since I am living in Australia now (after 309 visa grant), do I get the 801 visa instead of still get a 100 visa?

Thanks.

You will be granted SC 100 visa as you lodged you initial application outside Austtalia. They granted you 309 which is temporary visa and the next visa is 100 as your PR vise. Those lodged in Australia are granted sc 820 as temporary visa and 801 as the PR visa. We are in the same as I hold SC 309 and waiting for the 100.

Goodluck

Congrats Euroasianman!

Did you keep upload the evidence (such as photos, joint account statement) during your 8 months waiting period?

Thanks.

Application submitted online.
I heard nothing from the department until I received the email yesterday which was a big relief for me and my partner.

I'm back!

Now to join the queue with all of you fine people until our partners (or ourselves) get approved. It is also nice to see, that the department is still as secretive as ever when it comes to visas and no news seems to be good news!

Becky bombarded them with alot of evidence therefore that could be why her grant was fast. Hers is not the norm.

We have people waiting 8 months from eligibility date. A friend whose husband reply got an autoreply when she sent them an email and it said that the processing time was now 12 to 15 months.
