I think you don't need a police clearance from your home country and also no need to undergo with a health check.

We did the 2nd stage for PR, onshore, and no 2nd health check was needed.

Only the Australian police check was needed as she had not been back to her old country since arriving on the temporary visa.

This is just to inform the group that my wife's Permanent residence visa subclass 100 has been granted today the 5th of July, after waiting for more than 26 and a half months.

Her timeline is as the following:

Applied for 309 on 18 Apr 2015
309 granted on 13 Jan 2016
Applied for 100 on 18 Apr 2017
100 granted on 5 Jul 2019

Good luck to everyone.

The last two subclass 100 grants show the difference between visa times.
  • Shadi (country ??) took 26.6 months for the 801, with a total of 50.6 months from initial 309 application.
  • jahiduls (Bangladesh) took 2.2 months for the 801, with a total of 26.2 months from initial 309 application.
I am curious what the differences between them were.
Did either front load Police checks etc.,
Did either have to supply any further information etc.,
Were the sponsors, Australian, Australian Citizen or just PR.

Hi JandE,

I don't really know what is the difference between the two cases.
I have never been contacted since we submitted our application online, and the police check was provided a month later.
As a sponsor, I have Australian Citizenship.
