Some people don't get an email, but you can begin the 2nd stage and start uploading, 23 months after you submitted your 309.

They can start to look at the second stage anytime from 24 months after you submitted your 309.

It's interesting that your 100 took from a normal eligibility date of Nov 2018 to Dec 2019, (13 months by official timeline), even though completed just 2 weeks after you supplied the required information.

It shows that the delays might not be down to the time it takes to check things, but often just a built in delay, to ensure not too many visas get granted each year.

Your main delay appears to have been the 34 months processing for the 309. Any idea why it took that long?

The 309 was initially refused based on the grounds that immi did not believe that we were in a genuine relationship based on the information/documentation we provided in the application. Appealed to the AAT, which we had to wait for 2 years for a hearing. The AAT member ruled in our favour in May 2019 and the 309 was subsequently granted in September by the Belgrade embassy.

hello guys apply the subclass 100 today but got this in immi account. Do we need to apply Bridging visa B to travel overseas.

Bridging visa information

Bridging visas allow visa applicants to stay in Australia while their application is assessed. For more information on bridging visas visit our website.
Important: An applicant who wishes to travel outside Australia before their application is decided must hold a Bridging Visa B.

Apply for a bridging visa

I assume you currently hold a 309 visa, and that visa is still valid for travel?
