Hello everyone,

I have a question. We applied for my 309 visa on 2018 through a lawyer, we got the visa and now it’s almost time for the 100 visa application. We want to apply by ourselves this time and I talked to the lawyer who did it before, he said we’ll have to make a new Immi account to proceed. Is that right? I just want to make sure as I read other people’s comment saying they’re using the same account and same info. Thank you.

People who use the same account did it themselves. When you did the 309 it would of been on your agents account so of course you can't use it.

It can vary depending on when you submit all of the relationship proofs for the 100.

I've seen some take 3 months from eligibility recently. But no mention of getting an RFI.

I have submitted everything but the certificate, I only ordered it because I saw some posts on here with timelines that matched mine (submitted subclass 100 evidence in Jan, received grant in April). I was reluctant to order it too early as police certificates are only valid for a certain time. On the RFI I have only been asked for the police certificate, nothing else so I imagine thats all I need now.

Hi everyone,

I got my 100 approved yesterday and wanted to share my experience.

Timeline:
* Subclass 309 application: 24 July 2017
* Subclass 309 approval: 01 March 2018
* Subclass 100 eligibility: 24 June 2019
* Subclass 100 application: 24 July 2019
* Subclass 100 approval: 22 April 2020

Country of origin: Kazakhstan

Supporting documents provided:
* Child birth certificate
* Housing loan documents
* Utility bills
* Photos
* Mobile phone communication records
* Joint bank account statements
* Marriage certificate (even though we attached it 2 years ago as well)
* AFP check - I ordered this without formal request, just to expedite the process

I was not contacted by the agent, which means that we provided sufficient evidence.

Initially, I thought that the process will slow down due to the lockdown, but apparently immigration office is working.

Cheers!

When was your eligibility date? Processing times go by eligibility date.
