second step
100 - applied in 2nd Jan 2020
reqested AFP again: 14th Apr 2020
Granted: 15th May 2020
I did my police clearance twice because I didn't use my full name as in my passport and that's why they requested me to do it again.
Hi,

Did you click yes to the question below on your application, since you applied for 100 on 2nd Jan 2020, which would be on the 23rd month.

"Has it been a total of 24 months since the date the applicant lodged their temporary partner visa application?"

Also were you required to submit the police cert for the Sponsor?

Cheers!!

Hello All
Just a quick question :

"75% of applications processed within: 23 months"
"90% of applications processing within: 27 months"

is this means that 23 or 27 months from the date you lodged the 100 visa application? or from the date you submitted the first 309 visa application ??!

Regards

Neither. It is from the 100 eligibility date.

So for example, a 309 applied on 1 Jan 2018, would be 100 eligible on 1 Jan 2020, and 75% would have the 100 finalised within 23 months of 1 Jan 2020, irrespective of date the 100 is submitted.

Latest times, for April 2020, are:
309: 13-17 = 75% took up to 13 months. 10% took over 17 months.
100: 23-27 = 75% took up to 23 months. 10% took over 27 months.

thanks JandE

So, this means the 100 visa application can be granted anytime within 13 or 23 months from the date of the application ...

The application date for the 2nd stage, the subclass 100, is almost irrelevant.

The fastest subclass would be about 25 months from 309 application. Or 1 month after 100 eligibility.

The average might have been about 14 months after 100 eligibility, which would be 38 months after 309 application.

But some can take much longer, depending on many any factors.

In 2018/19 the average subclass 100 visa was finalised in 14.3 months, which was 38.3 months after the 309 submission. 25% took over 41 months after the 309 application date. I saw one at 52 months, after 309 application date.
