Im kicking myself as I was meant to lodge the AFP for my husband a few weeks ago and it completely slipped my mind...
We received the RFI today for AFP, assuming we would have been good to go had I front loaded! Never mind, have logged the AFP today and hopefully we get a grant before month end

Loving the speed thanks to Covid haha

Received our AFP in the post (so fast, considering!), uploaded and clicked the magical RFI confirmation button... we wait!

For anyone interested, this was the Processing Office:Permanent Partner Processing Centre - Queensland

I have a PR subclass 100. I paid an agency to do it. It was submitted Nov 2018, and it was granted Sept 2019. So took 10 months - I was expecting it to take longer as I was told it could take up to 15 months. Yes, you need to be patient! Hope this helps. I, on the other hand, am worrying my head off about my initial entry date being 10 Sept 2020. I had planned on going in May for 2 weeks just to activate it but Im trying to find out if it can be extended.

With talk about the travel restrictions on leaving Australia being in 2021 now, it does seem a problem to do a validation visit. You can travel here OK, as PR, if ready to settle. Some people do get an exemption to leave, but not everyone. Also of course you would have the 2 weeks in quarantine, on each entry, which might become expensive.

What country are you from, and what were your application and grant dates for the 309?
