Hi Nipu,

It is common that you do not receive acknowledgement. In my case also, I have not received acknowledgement. My application is also under further assessment.
Good luck

I am now preparing to apply for partner visa Stage 2 subclass 100,

Do I need to supply a new police clearance certificate from overseas where I have lived and my home country for partner 100 visa stage 2 application, as I have already uploaded these documents for partner visa 309 first stage?

Your advise will be appreciated.
Thank you
Hi Adam,

You only need to provide the overseas police certificate if you have visited that country after you came to Australia.
In your case, you haven't left Australia so no need to provide any police certificate.

My husband also applied for my sponsership from his immi account at the same time on 15th jan 2019. Its giving me finalized status on my 309 visa on my account but its showing further assesment on my sponsership form on my husbands account. I am very confused, why is that so ? Is it for subclass 100 ? As i tried to start stage 2 on my immi account, but it says i need to wait 24 months. Has anyone got visa 100 before they apply for stage 2 ? Or its necessary to apply for that ? Thankyou
Manhill, as per the requirement from immigration. After you apply for temporary partner visa. You need to wait for 24 months to apply for permanent (subclass100).

Even though you will start the application there will be a question asking have you completed 24 months or not? So you will not be able to progress further. My suggestion would be do not apply until you complete 23-24 months otherwise it will be rejected.

Tips for vs 100: Just submit as many as you can 🙂

Congrats mate. Very happy for you. Pretty crazy, as I applied for my 100 on the exact same date. Would you be able to provide some additional info? In particular, your entire visa timeline, when did you get a CO assigned? Also, was additional information requested? If so, what? and lastly, roughly what documents / proof did you provide?

What is RFI? My understanding is request for further information- how did you completed it without immigration asking for it?

Is it a standard question or form that is being asked?

If you can please share some more details that would be very helpful.
Thank you

Hi Everyone,
I received email from Home affairs last night to apply for permanent stage of partner visa so I looked into it this morning.
just finished submitting it. I noticed it's not asking much to attach
1.if you have changed name
2. financial aspect of relationship.

I have attached copies of our Joint electricity Bill.
letter from real estate that we both still reside under joint lease on same address
Pictures of us and other on my partner's birthday party
will be adding few more pictures where we attended party.
waiting for bank to provide transaction report for our joint saving account

Any suggestions , what more I will need
Applicant's Australian police check?
any other form etc (Haven't been asked anywhere)

New to this forum and its good to see improved processing time for stage-2 applications. We have applied for stage 2 on 18th June and eligible from 18th July (309 applied on 18/07/2018).

We have applied with almost every document in advance and haven't heard anything as of yet, so wondering if anyone heard anything from immigration who applied in July.

Thank you in advance.
Hi Mate.. I am exactly in same stage as yours. My partner applied for her Stage 2 on 10/Sep/2020 and nothing heard at all. Application stage is still 'Received'

Hi All,

I am quite new to this forum. My partner submitted her Stage 2 on 10/Sep/2020 and haven't heard anything back. Application sits at 'Received'. Did anyone apply after Sep 2020 got any update? Or is it just us??

We haven't applied AFP yet - just wanted to wait for the first CO contact, but we are thinking to get AFP and alteast to update the application so it may get DHA's attention..

We got really impressive Stage 1 processing from New Delhi, India where 309 was granted within 5 days. I am not sure if that's playing any factor in Stage 2 application delay.

09/Sep/2018 - Applied 309
14/Sep/2018 - Grant 309
10/Sep/2020 - Applied 100
??
