Help please

Gday all Im an Aussie and my fiance is here from Sweden. My question is, does anyone here know if its ok for me to go back to Sweden to work while my fiance is still here? Obviously we would still have our place together for when im back inbetween work but can I leave without affecting her chances at citizenship when the time comes because we know she cant leave for more than 90 days. Oh and she is on permanent defacto visa subclass 100.
Thanks alot all.

not moved in Australia by the time of visa 100 application

Hi there, I m new to the forum and have been reading the informative threads so far. Would like to check on the location from which my second stage visa (permanent visa 100) should be lodged.
My visa 309 was granted in Oct 2016. I am making my first trip to Australia this month to satisfy the first entry requirement deadline set for July 2017. However, this trip is just for us to go for job interviews there as we have not secured an employment in Australia as of now.
My eligibility date for permanent visa is in May 2018 and my question is - do my husband and I have to be in Australia in order to submit the permanent visa 100?
Understand that the Australian DIBP has pretty strict guidelines on usual resident of Australia, I am quite concerned that by May 2018, if we have not gotten a stable job there, we might not be able to move as yet, which might have negative impact on my application.
My husband is an Australian PR since April 2014. Would this status cease if we have not moved there by may next year?
Would be glad to hear any insights/experience from you

Hi all

I am on 309 visa (granted on 15 dec 2015) and now waiting for 100, I have been living in australia since 25 dec 2015 and my eligibility date is 19 May 2017. I was wondering can I apply the second stage of the visa on immiaccount already or I should wait until elig date then apply or until I receive email from embassy? I actually just came to know that there is an option to apply on immiaccount for the second stage and just had no idea what to do or what document they ask?

You must wait until your eligibility date .
Nothing will happen if you apply before eligibility

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if there has been any news regarding approvals recently? I lodged my 100 in Aug 2016 and haven't been assigned a CO yet.

I haven't done the Police Check yet (as I haven't resided in Australia for more than 12 months cumulative when I lodged my application. I probably have met that now so I might get that done at some point this week). Can anyone advise what's the procedure of doing police checks in Melbourne?

Thanks.

You will be asked to provide police check if you have lived in the country for 12 and plus months.

Online application at: https://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/se...-police-checks

Ours took 7 days to arrive. Although they say up to 15 working days.

You should use Code 33 at Question 1 on the form, for immigration purpose. State and Territory issued police certificates are not accepted.

Post PR 100 Approved!

Hi Everyone,

Just updating my husbands status. We applied for Partner Visa 27/03/2014. Granted 03/04/2015. He was eligible to apply for his PR on 27/03/2016 but I had left it and only applied for it on the 9/08/2016. So basically I had applied for it 5 mths after eligibility. (Which was stupid of me) Anyways, I didn't hear anything from the office nor was I assigned a CO until I received my husband grant letter yesterday for PR 19/04/2017! So happy the waiting game is over and can now relax, well that was until I saw on the news about the Citizenship stuff lol

Anyways peoples all the best with those who are still waiting and for those who are yet to apply.

God Bless

Applied PV(309/100) 27/03/2014
Granted (309) 03/02/2015
Eligible for PR(100) 27/03/2016
Apply PR(100) 09/08/2016
Grant PR(100) 19/04/2017
