Hello! I've been granted my 100 visa today. I didn't post very often but I've been a long time lurker! I just want to thank everyone in this group, all your experiences in applying for the visa had helped me a lot in preparing for my application.

My eligible date is 21st March 2016, I applied online a few days beforehand. On the 2nd May 2017, I was asked to submit a new AFP. Uploaded the AFP on the 25th May (it took 14 working days to be processed then another 4 days to arrive by Australia Post). And today 27th May I was granted the visa. I didn't know the case officers worked on Saturday?!?!

But anyway my husband and I are so happy! Now I can study and do all the courses at TAFE

Good luck to all of you who are waiting. I think March applications are being finalised

Unfortunately, they are looking at changing the fees for study soon - I believe it needs to be voted through parliament first. I am unsure if it applies to TAFE as well.

Never got any information from Immi, infact I have checked my status online last night and it was showing that they have not assigned anyone for my application and now after grant it shows 'finalised"

We pretty much did the same too except first 6 months did every 3 months.

I believe it stops them having to contact you for more evidence.

Congrats on the grant.

I heard that TAFE tuition fees are now quite expensive even for citizens and permanent residents too. I thought of taking some government subsidised training courses first, then see what I really like then I can take a full course at TAFE after.

Oh I didn't know that you meant to update the evidence regularly even after submitting the application. So the whole 14 months waiting period we didn't upload any, except for the change of address forms and our Aussie driver licences.
