Hi All !

My partner was eligible for 100 at the beginning of March 2017 and was granted PR in April 2017.

We used an agent for the whole visa application and for this 100 application, he told us to apply for it AFTER the eligible period. This is one of his "trick" that worked for his previous applicants. 2 weeks later after we submitted application, my partner was granted PR.

Eligible period was beginning of March 2017. We prepared and applied for police check in the middle of March and PR was granted at the beginning of April 2017.

Congratulations. You are very lucky to have received your PR so quickly.

Again the grant of your PR shows that immigration randomly picks up application for processing .

All the best

Congratulations. You are very lucky. I was eligible in July 2016 for my SC 100 visa. No applied by paper. No agent. No word yet as of today.

It is a random processing. It seems. That is why I belief it is not eligibility based.

Enjoy life and pray to God that the new citizenship changes does not pass through the parliement unoppossed.

You are in the wrong thread. This one is for subclass 100

20 months is far too long . Have you tried to contact them?

You can take the matter to Ombudsman. I am sure they will investigate it since you have gone over the processing times.

Any reason why it's taking this long ?

What visa did you have before 820?

Not sure what's a 485 visa but I will google it
File a complaint with the immigration ( on their website )
Normally they take 2weeks to reply . If you are not happy with the response, contact the Ombudsman
