Sorry if this sounds harsh but you should be happy they are quoting 6 months those waiting for their 801 as being quoted 12 to 15 months!!

Just sit back and try and relax and it will come when it comes. All the worrying and contacting in the world will not change thing. Emailing them just slows down things as they have address all these emails.

Hello! Just wondering if someone can inform me about the National Police Certificate. Can we obtain one from our local police station or do we need to fill out the form and send via mail? Thanks

NPC is provided by the Australian Federal Police. You need to apply for it online, I think it costs about $42 (double check the cost). They will send you one in 7-14 business days. I got mine in less than a week.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

Kind Regards,
Becky

I would certainly not be complaining if my application is allocated a case officer in 3 months..hahaha
I'm happy waiting as long as there is an update as to whats going on, I don't think thats too unreasonable.

It would be nice if they had an auto email go out to all those that are waiting.

With all government departments in Australia they only contact you when they need something.

I am just happy if they find just a few non-genuine couples.

Its been 3 months since I applied and no Case officer has contacted me and there is no update in my Immi account (online account). Is this the trend these days or should I contact them and ask them for an update ? Last time I sent them an email (Queensland - Brisbane Processing Centre) I got the reply which I had posted earlier.

There unfortunately there seems to be no trend. The whole process seems to be all over the shop. I'd suggest to keep an eye on your phone and emails for an update which may or may not happen. A few people have received their visas without actually being contacted by DIBP.

Waiting is all you can do. 6-8 months is the waiting period.
Good Luck!

Kind Regards,
Becky

Hi All,

I wish to inform everyone that my visa Subclass 100 has been granted today. As I worried about delay in processing, but Such a relief now. Thank you for being patient with my silly enquiries. Wish you all the best ahead

Congrats! 4 to 6 months seems to be consistent for 100's.
