Hi Guys

I have read a fair few posts already but wanted to clarify if anyone can assist. I see on here some people were eligible in May 2016 and around April or so this year were advised their 100 for PR was granted/started the process....I see on the DIBP website the below:
Obtaining the permanent Partner (Migrant) visa (subclass 100) is a two stage process. To be eligible for a permanent partner visa you first need to be granted a temporary Partner (Provisional) visa (subclass 309). You apply for both the permanent and temporary visas at the same time and pay only one fee. If you are granted the temporary Partner (Provisional) visa (subclass 309), you are eligible to be assessed for the permanent Partner (Migrant) visa (subclass 100) about two years after you lodged your application. You will need to provide further documents for this assessment.
If you have been in a long term relationship before you lodge your application, the permanent Partner (Migrant) visa (subclass 100) will be granted immediately after the temporary Partner (Provisional) visa (subclass 309).

*********
Is it 2 years from when you lodged your combined visa? Or from when they granted the 309?
Our timeline is basically:
Offshore application: July 2015
Granted 309 offshore (Madrid, Spain): Feb 2016
Entered AUS: June 2016
I thought were were able to add new doc's for stage two last month but when I log in to see my partner's application it just has stage 1 is finalised but nothing about stage 2. Any feedback would be appreciated! Sorry if this has been answered a lot before! TIA

Hey Yojo, the answer is simple as they put it in the post you copied from the DIBp's website. The eligibility date is counted as 2 years from the date you lodged the combined applications. For your case, it is 2 years from July 2015. For that case, your eligibility month was July 2017. You can start submitted the required docs now if you did not.. Remember there is no more contaxt from dibp asking to submit docs for the 2nd stage visa processing.

Hope helps

Thanks I thought I was being a bit of silly! However, we have no stage 2 option and so we can't submit any new documents anyway.....

If anyone is interested in the current timeline from the dept (which they seem to update every 6 weeks lately to a longer wait...)

Stream 75 per cent of applications processed 90 per cent of applications processed
309 - Provisional visa 13 months 19 months
100 - Permanent visa 21 months 37 months
Last updated 20 July 2017 (for month ending 30 June 2017)

I am not good at online applications. Mish might help at this stage. There should be somewhere where you start uploading documents.
