At last my visa 100 is granted!

Hi All,

Update: I have received my PR (Visa 100). At last after 16 months from 100 eligibility date!

100 Eligibility: 25 May 16
100 Granted: 28 Sep 17 (we never contacted immi for this)

IMMI interaction summary: No CO contacted us or our references (sad from our prospective, as it took lot of hard work to do paperwork for it). My Australian police check had expired which i uploaded last week (proactively).

All the best to all the permanent partner visa applicants!

Cheers,
Ash

Congrats!

You shouldn't be sad that you or your references were not contacted, you should be happy as if you or them are contacted then it means that have doubts about the relationship.

No update. I guess Iím one of the unlucky one.

Above all , I have filed a complaint with the Ombudsman which got acknowledged very well . They have asked for all correspondence in regards to my hubby visa . Thank God I kept all emails .

Iím preparing the email right now with my husband .

I hope something positive comes out of it .

Hi All,

Just wanna ask, if after the initial lodgement of permanent visa application, have you Guys kept on adding documents, pictures, etc to keep the flow of updating the Department that the relationship is still up and going?.

We applied my wife's permanent residency 80, last 30 Nov 2016 it will be a year this coming Nov but the status is still "Received but has not been assigned for assessment"

Any advice on what else can we do strengthen our case.

Kind regards

We submitted updated evidence every 3 months for the first 6 months and then every month after that.

There was always the recent joint bank account statements and joint bills and movie tickets. Apart from that there were flights when we booked it etc. I decided to do this because updated it to keep it up to date showed that we are still in an ongoing relationship.
