I donít know Peter Dutton personally but he appears racist to me .

I hope they wonít give him the power to override . If they do, we will see less grants .

Also, 4 years on a PR is way too long .

I agree! 4 year as PR is discrimination to those that do not arrive on a PR visa. If they wanted to make it fair they would increase the overall years in Australia not the amount of PR.

Time will tell what happens....

Hi everybody?
Have we got any good news recently?
My eligibility date for visa 100 is 17 Jun 2016. So I have been waiting for more than 16 months now and still haven't heard anything from Immi Depart. My husband called them few months ago to hear they confirmed that they received my application. That's all.
Very frustrated.
Feel like our lives have been on paused waiting for this visa for the last 2 years. Struggled to find a job even though I had quite good experience oversea, now ended up working for a small company at entry level (all the big ones in my industry require PR at least).
Counting days to get the visa to buy a home, have babies and actually start our lives in Australia.

Hi Everyone,

I would like to thank everyone who shared their experience with DIBP for the PR 100 as it took a bit of frustration. My application was lodged on 22/06/2014 so my eligibility date is 22/06/2016 I lodged the application on 29/04/2016 and I didn't upload any more evidence since. I am thinking to upload some evidence also I notice a form 80, I don't remember I saw it there when I applied and it is not in the checklist for online application! so I am thinking to do that one as well and make a new AFP. Should I go ahead and do that or give it a couple of weeks as EDT got PR recently...?

Cheers

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone had there eligibility date in Dec 2016? I applied in February 2017 and still did not have a case officer allocated to my Subclass 100 application. Is that normal? I was just told on a thread i started that it is... but my question is whether IMMI allocates a case officer and straight away processes your application and only notifies you when it is granted?

Im confused because when i applied for Sub Class 309, a case officer was allocated in Jan 2015 and i only got the grant in Oct 2015.

So will i have to wait for more months after a case officier is allocated to my Sub Class 100 application? i Have submitted all the documents on the immi account.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!! I didnt know there was a specfic thread for Subclass 100.

Nobody gets a case officer nowadays just a grant or refusal in your inbox.
They donít communicate anymore and make it harder to be contacted .
My husband got his PR at about 16.5 months . He was neither contacted by immigration just a grant letter on one faithful day.

All the best
