Visa 309 waiting

Hello,

I have submitted visa 309 application on 15th June 2016, provided requested documents including Health check and PCC documents on 15th November 2016.

Any idea approx when the grant of 309 can be? I had an impression that generally PCC and health check are requested when the processing is near to end.

Thanks a lot.

Hi all,

My wife is waiting for her 100 since August 2016.

After hearing nothing, she received a message on December 18 2017 requesting a police check within 28 days.

However as she was sent this email around the holiday period she unfortunately missed it.

Today she saw it and freaked out. She immediately applied for her Police Check online and uploaded the receipt to Immi.

So what we do now? Should we hit "Information Provided" or wait until the acutal Police Check arrives in the mail (in around another two weeks).

Please help!

Best regards,

Stevie

Hello, does anyone know which number I should call?

I tried the old number for the Brisbane partner processing centre

Brisbane Partner (Permanent) Processing Centre
Department of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC)
Tel: 1300 760 314 l Email: [email protected]
GPO BOX 9984 Brisbane QLD 4001

But it didnt work. Is the only number now: 131 881?

Thanks

Hi all,

So just a follow up: After uploading the receipt of police check (3 days after the 28 day window), we emailed then called the above number.

We were put on hold for an hour but it was well worth the wait I think.

I spoke to someone who was very understanding, and said that over the holiday period it is possible to miss such deadlines.

She made a note on our file that we have called and emailed and told us to keep an eye on our inboxes from now on. (she be up for PR in April or December 2018 and it's likely they haven't even got to our file yet).

I hope this helps anyone else who may be in our position.

Good luck everyone.

Exclamation 309 Paper Application

Hi Mish,

Please advise on below

I applied for 309 on 18.03.2016
Application Received by 21.03.2016
And 309 was granted on 24.11.2016

So i believe i'm eligible for Subclass 100 PR by 21.01.2018 (2 months prior to 2 years)

I have made a paper application in 309. So for subclass 100 do i have to send paper documents ? or can i submit online ?

Also appreciated, if you could let me know about any additional documents need to be provided.

Thank you
Regards
John

Your eligibility date is 18.03.2018 but you can submit the documents up to 2 months prior being 18.01.2018.

You can submit the application online, they actually stopped allowing paper applications late last year.

You will need to supply the same documents as you did for the 309 but since the grant of the 309 so things like joint bank accounts, joint lease, joint bills, joint travel, super beneficiary (if changed or not provided for the 309), pictures with family and friends, joint social activities etc.

You will also need an AFP, a sponsors stat dec (form is available on the immigration website) and atleast 2 x 888's.
