Your guess is as good as anyone else's. Seeing as it's been nearly a year and you've been requested something and supplied it, you can hope it will be within a few days or weeks.

But as I'm sure everyone knows by now, that's not always the case.

Thanks for your reply, Khanjan!
Looks like we had applied around the same time. It is awesome to know that our current application status are worded precisely the same.
Nonetheless, your eligibility date was on 26 Feb 2018. Chances are, your subclass 100 would be granted sooner than ours!
We wish you and your partner all the best!

You need new 888's providing 888's from the 309 is not going to show that your relationship is still genuine and ongoing.

Yes, you need a new AFP. You only need a new overseas police clearance for any countries you have lived for 12 months since the grant of the 309.

You need to think of this as providing updated evidence to show your relationship is still genuine and ongoing. You need to submit evidence since the grant of the 309.
HI,

We applied for visa 100 after my wife got pregnant in march 2018. She got her 309 visa in October 2016 and started to live in australia since then, so already stayed 1.5 years and working full time. I am citizen and sponsor.

In this situation with baby expected in august 2018, what are our chances of getting visa 100 as soon as possible? can you plz indicate any time frame or anybody similar situation with a TR Pregnant wife can share plz?

when did you initially apply?
no offence but bub isn't a fast track reason.
we were elligible for the 100 1/1/2017 our son was 4 months old did the paperwork in March. provided updates.... still inside processing times. apart from timing for citizenship it doesn't impact on things.

Pregnancy or child/ren of the relationship do not help fast track the application as they will still be checking to make sure the relationship is genuine and ongoing. A baby of the relationship is just one piece of evidence to show the relationship is still genuine and ongoing.

There was one person on this forum who had a baby of the relationship and they even had to have a DNA test done - their application took around 12 months after eligibility date.

My work colleague (Sri Lankan on Partner Visa subclass 309) became eligible for permanent residency (subclass 100) since 26 November 2017. They collated all their documents and posted them (including AFP National Police Check, 2 Forms 888 and other required evidence) on 28 February 2018. Subsequently, they received the grant notification on 6 April 2018. Turnaround of approximately 4 and a half months from eligibility date to grant date. Awesome!
