In this situation with baby expected in august 2018, what are our chances of getting visa 100 as soon as possible? can you plz indicate any time frame or anybody similar situation with a TR Pregnant wife can share plz?
A baby does not guarantee PR. I was 4 months pregnant when my hubby applied for his PR and it was not granted until my daughter was 10 months old.

Sit tight and enjoy your wife pregnancy

hie, is there a law on how long you should stay in Australia during your wait for Permanent partner visa. I have recently applied this May but me and my partner want to go to study in Africa after 8 months. The studies will be for 3 years but we will be coming back during holidays

Hi everyone!

We are about to start preparing for the 2nd stage submission soon. We understand that the supporting documents are similar to the 1st stage but we are running out of ideas. We have not lived separately but all we have in our both names are lease, internet account. I am submitting bank statements to show our regular financial share, but what else do you need? All the majour ones have been submitted for the 1st time, and they have not changed.

Thank you!

Hi all,

I have been a long time reader and I had help from some of the admin of the group during my 309 application, I am so happy to let you know I just got granted my 100! I just screamed and cried and ran everywhere at work, did not expected to get it so quick!

Timeline is as follow: 309 applied 06/08/15, granted 18/04/16.
100 Eligibility date 06/08/17- applied 17/09/17 granted 22/05/2018!
I uploaded some new photos/ flights tickets/rent agreement/ joint bank statements and 2 stat dec + new police check when I received mail from immi on 16/03/18 saying that my case was going to be allocated and they didn't ask for anything else!

hope that gives hope to everybody, so much shorter than estimated timeframe!

Good luck to everyone and thank you for your support !

If the email you're referring is Acknowledgement of Application Received, you won't get one as the application was made in 2015 when you paid the fee. Hence why it's a 309/100 application and not a 309 application. All you do two years later is submit additional documentation as you are now eligible for the 100 stage.

You're only 5 months into waiting and wait times are longer than that.

as with the first stage, who knows.
we've been eligible 11 Jan 2017 all paperwork done Feb. all you can do is wait and try not to think about it. still well within the average times, though seeing the odd rash of grants at 8 months is frustrating lol.
