What I mean now is the law has changed for partner visas etc

Under the new law anyone who wants to bring their partners to aust the sponsor has to b approved first then the applicant and they will b no more temporary visa it will permenant visa for four yrs then apply for citizenship

This isn't in effect as yet, they want to bring it in and it's proposed but not yet.

At the end, they will ask you if you want to keep the feedback anonymous, click no and there will be option for you to enter your contact details and application reference number.

Please take ownership of your action while filing your complaints. If Case Officer contacts you for an interview, make sure you are well prepared because it can cause backfire.

i am not sure if the think tank will know but I wanted to ask your opinion on my situation. I am considering doing as above in putting feedback / complaint. My bf who is currently waiting for his PR to be approved desperately wants to get a trade apprenticeship but many of the job adverts state you have to have PR or be a citizen. So he's currently studying part time at TAFE and working as a trade assistant to get experience. I want to ask the department to look at his application but I don't know if this a just reason? His timeline is: applied for stage 2: AUG 2017 (was eligible JUL 2017) so it's not been 12 months. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Nothing stops you from asking, but it's not a very good reason. Plenty of people are in the same position (or worse) so it's pretty much the norm in the partner visa stream.

Hi All

I’m new to this forum and my time line is for my husbands visa 309/100
Date of application 26th October 2016 high risk country
309 granted 26 March 2017

So soon will start to prepare for visa 100 I want to start preparing it from now so it can be ready to apply.

My question do I and my husband need to write a statutory declaration of our relationship from the beginning of how we met till now or what I’m confused about that.

Im stressing out as I don’t know where to start etc

can some one please let me know the process of what needs to be handed in etc
Thx

Hi

My husband and I wrote our stat dec about our relationship/situation from the time he started living in Australia. They already have all the info on the beginning of the relationship from the original application and need to know if your relationship is still genuine once you begin your life together in Australia.

We used a migration agent and she was really happy with what we had submitted. I just wrote about good examples of emotional support, financial arrangements, social and family relationships and holidays together etc.
We also sent in a lot of photos of us together and our life here with family and friends etc.

I agree with you it is very stressful as your future is riding on it. Good luck!
