Thanks for your reply.
So when the time comes, they will send us a package (through our mailbox?), and we have to complete and attach all evidences required?
- Also I noticed that temporary visa (309) expiry date is now 20 years from the grant date instead of just 5 years? Did you get 20 years as well?

Once again thank you
You will get an email notification exactly 2 years after lodgement date of the 309 to submit evidence for stage 2. Once that is processed the 309 will cease anyway and become 100

They send it one month prior to eligibility and even though they've started sending them out again (they stopped for a period of time), not everyone gets it (LadyRogue I believe is an example of this).

It's just a courtesy notification. Even if someone doesn't get it, they're still eligible to submit Stage 2 as early as one month prior to eligibility.

Actually, I did get the email 1 month before my eligibility date, stating that I could go ahead and do Stage 2. However, after I got mine, I recall there was someone else who said they didn't receive an email. So it seems to be hit and miss. Ultimately, it's our own responsibility to keep track and to ensure we follow all the steps.

Thank you Skybluebrewer and all for the answers! ))))

I have seen that "greyed out button" at the bottom, it came alive when they asked for some additional information.
They allowed 28 days to submit the information. If you submit before 28 days and press the button I recall there was a warning popped up - it means they can make a decision using whatever is submitted without waiting the 28 days, so be careful!

Hi everyone,

Whoever already granted with visa 100 could you please advise if you had a condition of "For first entry arrive by".

I was granted recently when being offshore. Just wondering if it is the reason why I have this condition. (I already had it when I was granted with visa 100 and thought that there won't be the same "First entry" condition this time).

Thank you.

Some info on bridging visa B

Hi All,

I have been possessing a temporary partner visa subclass 309. Last month i have applied for a permanent visa subclass 100 since i was eligible for the same. After this process, my immiaccount stated that any applicant who wishes to travel outside Australia needs to possess bridging visa B while the application is under process. I called up immigration office and they said my 309 is still valid and i dont need the bridging visa B.

I have to travel overseas for a week, do i need to apply bridging visa B or not?

Thanks,

Hi
If you look at your VEVO it will show exactly the conditions of the temporary visa... my husband's shows the following on his VEVO

Visa status: In Effect
Entries allowed: Multiple entries to and from Australia during the validity of your visa
Enter before date: 18 December 2015
Period of stay: Indefinite

This means he can come and go whenever he chooses and his temporary visa has no end date

Hope that helps
