Question Partner visa

Hello all
My partner and I are applying for a partner visa (off-shore). Our application wont be ready for submission until the end of May. My partner wants to apply for a working holiday visa before we submit our partner visa. Will this have any effect on the processing of our partner visa? Should we wait until our application has been received before she applies for the working holiday visa?
