Exclamation Visa Delayed - Medical Condition Identified

Hi All,

I applied for Permenent residence visa 885 in Aug 2011 and got CO allocated in mid Nov 2011. I went through my medicals by end of Nov 2011. However the doctor identified problem with my ears. i have a perforated eardrum. Now it's been 5 months since I gave my medicals to immigration department but I did not get any response from them yet. on a query from my migration agent about this, the CO didn't give any definite reason of delay and has mentioned they will do their best to finish the case asap. that was 3 months ago.

I am sure that the delay has been caused by my medical condition. Just wondering how long it could take to get my medicals cleared. Thanks.

I had medicals referred on 30th Mar 12 with my wife's thyroid condition declared before the examination, the blood test with the hormone well in control but still form 26EH is the only thing without MET status...Im having a similar feeling like yours... I cannot comprehend why its taking such a long time. Did you get any positive response now?
