Will australian masters degree in management give 5 points to a Civil Engineer

I have a Bachelors of Civil engineering from Nepal and current studying masters course in management from Australia. So, If I apply for PR as "Civil Engineer", will this degree from Australia give me 5 points?

If you meet the Australian Study Requirement (at least 2 academic years study in Australia) then it will.

A recognised degree (in any discipline) will get you 15 points
'Australian study requirement' could get yo 5, for a relevant degree
'Regional Area' study could get you +5.

If you want to be sure that you are on the right bus, consult a registered migration agent.

Thank you for your reply sir. Here is my situation. My course is
masters of management for engineers at CQ university. I was deferred from July 2015 intake and
I am starting my classes from this November and it ends on July 2017. Although, it is a 2 year
course, it is going to be completed in 20 months in my case. So, does it still count as 2 years course
and will it help for the 5 points? Eagerly waiting for your reply. Thank you again

Please check the CRICOS Code. If it is 072160K then it is listed as a 104 week course and so will meet the Australian Study Requirement. So it is worth 5 points. You will also be eligible to apply for Skilled Graduate SC 485 - Post Study Stream. this is a two year work visa.
