Partner Visa. Please have a look.

Hi guys, (NEW QUESTION EDITED TODAY 1/12/2015)
I am going to apply for the visa next month and we are collecting statement. There is a question I like to ask. We do the statutory declaration but we didn't follow the form 888. Actually, we included everything the form ask. However, it is just some paragraph from my boyfriend dad and friend showing how they know me and him, how our relationship growing and how genuine our relationship. It is also included birth certificate and address but without phone numbers. they all went to the police station to declare for the form. After that we found out the form 888. I wonder if we have to do exactly what the form 888 asked.

The lease isn't a big deal because you have joint utilities and also your relationship is registered.

You can also show the page from your tax return about spouse/de facto partner showing that you have declared each other.

You can also include something from Centrelink that he has declared you as his de facto partner.

There are also wills and super beneficiary that you can include.

I know what you mean I am not a photo person either.

Hi Mish. Can you please more specific on the above, as I couldn't find such info on my tax return, as well as tax assessment. Thanks

Mine is on my tax return I lodged via etax. I think from memory it was page 9.

It won't be on your tax assessment notice.

How did you lodge your return?

I think your case is strong enough. The relationship registration waives the 12 months living together.

You have joint items from November 2014 so that shows you have been living together. Not everyone has a lease as some people are with people that already own their own home.

I lodge via CPA, not online.

They may not have included it. Some tax agents don't include the partner if it won't affect the return. I am of the theory always best to be safe than sorry. They should give you a printout of what they lodged.

If your student visa is valid until 2017 is there any reason why you want to rush into the 820 right now??
Why not hold off for a while whilst building more and more evidence which will ensure you have a rock solid application down the track
