Online application 2nd stage Partner Visa Online application

Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone can help...

I am in the process of completing my application for the second stage of my partner visa online, it will be two years since our initial application at the end of this month. I have most of our evidence gathered, just waiting on a couple of completed 888 stat decs from family...

What I'm wondering is, once you hit 'Submit' I assume it then it takes you to uploading your evidence. Is that application completed then and can't be edited at all? Or is it possible to edit the application/questions bit after hitting submit?

I know its going to take a while to upload all our evidence so I'd like to get started if I can but I may need to go back and make changes to our application answers.

Also, can anyone clarify - do the passports for our friends and family writing 888s need to be certified copies or if I do a direct scan of them is that acceptable? As it seems the rest of our evidence, including our own passports can just be direct colour scans.

Thanks all!

Date applied: 30th September 2013
820 granted: 5th February 2015

As far as I know you can't change things after you hit submit. You would have make any changes using either Form 1022 or Form 1023.

The Passports need to either be colour scanned copies of the originals or scanned certified copies. You have to show that the people making the declarations are either Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Thanks Jeremy, I thought that would be the case and didn't want to hit submit until I am sure everything is correct.

It can take anything up to 12 or even 15 months.
