Usual country of residence/applying onshore...?

Hi, just not 100% on the ususal country of residence; I'm from UK but "residing" in Australia so what should I put in that box and the address details following that Q? For now I've put usual residence UK but then my Aus address underneath. Sorry in advance if I'm being thick :o

From the Australian Bureau of Statistics definition:

A person is regarded as a usual resident if they have been (or expected to be) residing in Australia for a period of 12 months or more over a 16 month period (the '12/16 month' rule).

Will this definition also apply to Immigration?

I'm applying for the 820 so I guess I'd put yes?

Same boat as you....I'm not Australian but I put Australia as my usual country of residence as I have applied for an onshore 820 and am leasing a home here. I'm not sure if it is correct, but I came across a bunch of threads on this topic and it seemed to be a divided response, with most leaning towards doing it this way, so this is how I did it :)
