Visa Granted

Hi all,

I am so pleased to hear that my wife got an email on the 28th September from the Australian Embassy in Manila, stating the Visa has been granted. My wife has to be in Australia by the 8th of November 2015. I have a question in relation to ths?

Exit requiremements- Philippine Nationals

There are guidelines on departure formalities for all international bound Philippine nationals.
For tourists travelling abroad you will need to provide the following:

- valid passport

- valid visa and

- a return ticket.

Can i get a one way ticket for my wife to come to Australia, without buying a return ticket?

Thank you in advance

There are different requirements for immigrants.
Dont forget she needs to get her certification from CFO ,without it she may not be allowed to leave.
Make sure she books in soon as places are limited.
Check out the link below it explains everything.

Hi Aussiesteve,

That CFO your talking about is the 4 hr seminar that informs them of there rights in domestic violence and where they can get help.?

If thats the same one my wife has already done that and got a little certificate with her photo on it and all.

Thanx for the heads up,

Congrats Armedup,
Another December Grant, amazing.
I think your wife still needs to go back and show the visa grant to CFO, and get a sticker, as I was under impression you could do the seminar any time, but the sticker is provided after you show them the Grant letter.
Let us know, as my wife has done it already, but has been told she must return with the Grant letter.
Cheers
PK

Hi pk,

I'm in Melbourne 20 mins out of the CBD. I was asking my wife about the CFO and if she needs to go back? She informed me it was a once off and got certificate with photo and info on it ...but i told her to ring and ask if she needs to provide the grant letter. I am just waiting for her reply.

Maybe things have changed since july 2014 when she got hers done.
