Working while on WHV to BVA

Hello - My partner has just been offered another job at his old workplace.

He is currently on a WHV which expires on October 21st, we will be applying for the 820 Partner Visa very soon.

He worked for the old company from 13th April to 25th September and has been offered more work starting from tomorrow (9th Oct) for one month.

My questions are; apart from the 6 month restriction would anything else stop him from taking up this job again? Are there any issues with being employed on the WHV and then transferring to the BVA?

Thanks!

Once the WHV expires and the BVA (associated with the partner visa application) comes into effect he can work for whoever he wants. There will be no more work restrictions.

Thanks CCMS - do you know details about the 6 month working limitation? Do they count only working days or 6 months straight from Day 1 of working?

The company is telling my partner he has 10 days available on his visa which expires on the 21st (11 days, including weekends)

We are finding it really hard to calculate the exact time he has worked and want to ensure he doesn't work over as it might ruin his partner visa chances.

Thanks,
Jess

The term ‘6 months’ refers to 6 calendar months.
