re-apply or MRT?

Hi, we are applying for partner visa, if it's rejected, can we re-apply or we have to go through MRT? If the reasons for refusal can be corrected, can we re-apply? is there any time restriction for re-submitting the application? Thank you for your kind advice.

You can reapply as many times as you wish. You will have to pay the full fee again

thanks for the reply. I think it's worth paying the fee instead of waiting for MRT as long as we know what was the reason being rejected and we can correct it.

Hi Annisha,

In case the visa application is rejected, since I have read and researched many cases, the reason why they were rejected not bcoz simply supplement or correcting, it's the whole issue of lacking convinced evidences to prove the relationship is genuine. Moreover, there is no point to submit the whole thing again if you can't prove the point that brings to the denial, and it probably coz the 2nd refusal. Hence, I would recommend you proceed the MRT rather than re-apply coz the chance to win will be higher.

Cheers,

You'll still need to submit same amount of information to MRT. They will not accept whatever information you want. MRT follows rules and regulations issued by minister of immigration (I.e. the law). So you'll need to submit additional info.

MRT has 2 main drawbacks: 1- it takes them forever to review your case. 2 - their refusal is final and gives DIAC an excuse to be more aggressive with your next application if you do chose to apply.
