PMV interview

Does anyone know where my partner will have to take this? He is living in a country that is not his birth country. The lawyer has told him he will have to travel to the Australian Consulate in his home country and have the interview in person although there isnt one there. Cant he do the interview by telephone or in the country where he now lives?

My partner who is Congalese living in South Africa, had his interview on Monday the 20/08/2012, in Nairobi Kenya- the Australian Consulate for his country. We havent heard about approval or when we should find out. Hopefully the wait isnt too long.

I've just joined the forum so forgive me for posting this late. Sorry to hear he had to travel to Nairobi for an interview. My wife and I are living in Kenya and we've only had a phone interview from Nairobi. We lodged 1/11/2011 and we are still waiting. We had to visit Nairobi High Commission 4 times so far though for Medicals, biometrics etc.

Good luck

GraemeAdelaide ;-)

My fiance is from Ghana but is living in Greece. We submitted the application to Berlin Germany which is the central place for some of Europe including Greece.

He is going to be having a phone interview in a couple of weeks. Not sure if our situation is like yours or not.
