Hi there. We have been living in NZ for nearly 5 years and will be getting citizenship next year.
We are interested in exploring the opportunity of coming to work in Australia and am looking for advice to see if this will be possible.
My husband will be 50 next year. He will not have a problem securing work and will have relevant qualifications to obtain work in his field. I am in my 40's and am studying at uni to become a social worker.
So I guess my questions are: are we able to come over to Australia and work, and if so, will we be entitled to full benefits such as health, schooling for our children etc.
Or in order to get these benefits do we have to apply for permanent residency, which we may be too old and past it for!
Any advice would be appreciated, many thanks in advance.
Jeanette
