Health requirement - Spouse VISA

Hello, I am new in this forum and I just got married to an Australian citizen last month.I am from the Philippines. I am to apply for Spouse Visa once our marriage contract is available but I have thyroid cancer and I had my operation last year of Sept. I take hormone pills daily as advised by my doctor. Does anyone knows if I can still apply for a spouse visa given my medical condition? Thanks!
