Applying for TFN

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one, I have already lodged an off shore 309/100 on December 7th 2015. On the 11th of December 2015 I lodged for a subclass 600, family sponsored visa.

What is the go with applying for a Tax File Number?

Is there any chance to apply for one when my wife arrives in the next few months on a visitor visa (subclass 600)?

Regards

No chance at all she isn't allowed to work on a 600.

When people with a foreign passport apply they apply online and ATO matches with DIBP.

You have to wait until you have the 309 and have made first entry into Australia.

Hi, just a quick question about applying for a TFN. I have applied for an onshore partner 820 but am still currently on a e-visitor until the BVA kicks in at the end of this month. I sorted out the Medicare the other day but I'm just unsure, can I apply for a TFN online at this point or do I have to wait until my BVA starts?

Thanks
