Have you not been contacted by DIBP yet? By the sounds of if you are past the eligibility date (unless the approval was very fast). Eligibility is 2 years from when you applied for the 309.

Everything you need to know is here: https://www.border.gov.au/about/corp...ent-calculator

In short you do not get sent to Thailand it gets sent to Brisbane or you apply online. You need to supply evidence since the grant of the 309.

No fee needed you are not applying for a visa you are submitting additional paperwork.

Thankyou for your reply.
Yes was contacted by dibp by letter about august of last year, asking for additional information. Contacted visa lawyer in Thailand and he informed me that he had a guy here in Aust that would prepare the next stage ( subcass 100) and that i still had plenty of time, and not to worry, have realized i havnt got much time and i better get it sorted, My wife has been here since april 2014 . I must clarify my question in prev post regarding doing it myself.. I paid same above mentoined visa laywer in Thailand to prepare and submit our 309 visa,, but actually i chased up all revelant documents, forms ect ect that was needed ,, sent it to him from Aust to his office in Thailand and he lodged it. and i payed him to do this, When i couldve just saved money and lodged it myself,
I am aware that i need to send all additional info to brisbane, was just asking the question ,, whether tp pay a visa lawyer ( here in Oz to prepare and submitt, mor just do it myself Hope that clears it up a bit
Thanks again

It is easy enough to do it yourself.

You can do it online or get a migration agent to do it for you. Make sure you properly address all requirements and provide good supporting evidence. Stage 2 is not just a rubber stamp as some people think and should not be treated as such.
