Deferring medical and pcc

I have lodged my visa application 4 yrs ago and atlast got the case officer allotted and been asked to take medical and pcc, but I was told by panel doctors not to take up for chest xray for my wife since she is pregnant. Also my agent advised to wait for the baby delivered and add the child in the application which will make my job easier for the lil new one. I am worried about deferring medical and pcc what if rules change but the time baby delivered.
Please let me know is this is not to be worried.
