De Facto evidence

Hey yall

I'm putting together all our evidence for an onshore de facto visa (820), and have a couple of questions:

Question 1)
According to the Parter visa booklet,
"There are 4 broad categories of evidence that you need to provide:
the nature of the household;
social context of the relationship; and
the nature of your commitment to each other."

But on the form 47SP (application), the document checklist at the end has two tickboxes, one for "Evidence that your de facto relationship has existed for the entire 12 months before lodging this application" and one for "Evidence that your relationship is genuine and continuing."

I am sort of confused as to how these are different. Obviously in the 4 categories of evidence we include dates, photos, bank statements that would indicate the length of the relationship. But it's not as if we have a piece of paper indicating that we've been in a de facto relationship for 12 months. (and we live in Victoria, but haven't been here long enough to register our relationship - already looked at that one!)

Anybody who has done this who can shed some light on this would be much appreciated!

Question 2) There is some overlap in the types of things listed under each category of evidence, primarily the "sharing of household bills and expenses" which falls under both the "financial" and "household" categories. We have printouts of our bank statements highlighting relevent purchases, and some receipts, but just weren't sure where to include these. (also, my partner has a number of cash deposits listed on his bank statement, as he was getting paid in cash for a while. I wanted to cross these transactions out on the statement, but my partner thought that would draw more attention to it, or seem suspicious. Thoughts?)

Question 3) On Form 80, question 16 asks for your current residential address,and then says "attach certified copies of original documents... that give evidence of your address." We are including elsewhere in the application a copy of our bank statements for joint accounts, which list our address. Do I need to include a certified copy of something else attached to this form? And would constitute proof of address in this case - same thing, just a bank statement?

Ok, I think that's all for now. Thanks for all your help, in advance!

regarding registering your relationship, they aren't that strict on living here for 12 months. Try to hand it in person, they will probably tell you if it isn't valid. (worth a try before paying) How long has the Applicant been living in Australia?
My partner was here in Nov (9months) but hes been to Australia before.

Q2: the sticky unofficial defacto tips

it helped me tremendously, as I did not want to overlap information (tho I think if you are typing up statements, then it is expected to be repeated)
