Can I wait for my 485 visa to be approved while in another country?

Hi all,

I recently applied for a 485 visa and was granted a bridging visa A. I am aware that if I leave Australia my bridging visa A will be cancelled. Does this also mean that my application for 485 visa will be cancelled? I am not sure that bridging visa B will be long enough to cover the time that I am away.

Thanks
