Can I lodge an offshore partner visa online in Australia?

Hey guys,

This sounds like a stupid question but I'm having trouble finding an answer. I'm sponsoring my wife to come to Australia from Brazil. But we are running out of time to lodge it online here as I have to return home to Australia (she will stay here in Brazil). Is it possible to get all her documents, copy certiy them here then bring them to Australia where I can translate them and then lodge the application for her online? In essence, does the lodgement and payment need to be from a computer in Brazil or does she just need to be living offshore for lodgement?

From what I understand, she needs to be offshore for an offshore application. You could lodge it online in Australia or Brazil or anywhere else as long as she is not onshore for a valid offshore application. Correct me anyone if I am wrong.

Island Girl is correct. It only matters where the applicants is when lodging.
