mrt answer

Hi
I did the interview at the mrt last 21st of January.
The judge was very bed with the 4 people before me,she staid something like 30/45 minutes each and was so serious...I was the last one and with me was very funny, she laugh a lot and when I said that with my partner I will get married in Italy she saidh must to be lovely
(We are both Italian,my visa was refused because I applied for stay with him student visa, but he put single September 2014 because are that moment we never know was a De facto was,and even if on March 2015 we bring all the document that we live together that we have a De facto certificate and everything,my visa was declined)she ask us if someone help us with the visa and we said yes but that are an organisation and this girl was not an immigration agent and at that time she only ask to my fiance if he was married and he said no(she never told about De facto)
After she ask me of my family and him family are in a good relationship, she saw the ring on my finger and she said:now I should call you fiance!!After she ask me when for me we start to live like husband and wife and I said never...because we are not married...and she laugh a lot and said:so you need that someone give you a certificate for tell you that you are husband and wife...and I said yes...and she laugh...After she ask us about our future plan and we said that we have a holiday this July were both family stay together and that we will booking the location for the wedding that should be next year!!!
In total with us she spend no more that 15 minutes..was every time laugh and calm no serious..at the end she told us that she will write her decision and she will give us in 3 weeks...now it is 2 weeks and 1 day...when I will receive the answer???There is a way in which I could know something???

The AAT - MR Division is seriously short of recourses The last decision I got from them took 4 months ( It was a Schedule 3 case, and I won that one). I am waiting on another one at the moment. The hearing went for 2 hours and was on 17th September 2015. I still do not have a result for this one.

So you just have to wait your turn. It will come in the end..

Usually contact within 2 to 3 months. In a recent case of mine they contacted in about 6 weeks for new medicals and police clearances. Another 6 weeks after providing those three visa was granted.

I'm confused, in your earlier posts you said that you and your partner lived together, but you responded in AAT that you've never lived together? Because a de facto relationship is essentially like husband/wife but without the marriage certificate.

syd likes this.
