As you can see from the extract of the regulations below neither your sister-in-law or her husband can sponsor you. Your wife can be sponsored and you can travel with your wife on the same sponsorship, but not you alone.

600.231
[600.231] The applicant intends to visit Australia:

(a) to visit an Australian citizen, or Australian permanent resident, who is a parent, spouse, de facto partner, child, brother or sister of the applicant; or

(b) for any other purpose that is not related to business or medical treatment.

You can apply for a tourist visa and have your in-laws support that application in providing evidence that they will cover you accommodation and other costs while you are in Australia. You will just need to provide evidence that you are a genuine tourist and that you have very good reasons to return home to India after your visit.

Hi J Hooper
Thanks for your great reply. In my case my wife is NZ citizen. Presently living with me in india. I am eligible to apply for 461 visa but this process takes 8-9 months process. As a genuine visitor i can provide only return ticket, bank account with living expense money.
australian citizen family can provide us accomodation and support with money.(house aggrement and bank account). I don't have any strongs ties with india.
