No rental agreement?

OK so back to getting things ready for partner visa application this year, about living, specifically rental agreement.

The appartment I have been living in for the past 10 months here in Morocco doe's not have a rental agreement. The owner for "tax" reasons did not want this. Also he suggested if we did it like that it would cost more (which it would).. I had no problem with that, then I go back to the application for the partner visa recently and see about this can be used as evidance for living together? (everything for the past almost 2 years is accounted for in other appartments/places but these last 10 months no "contract")

What I have thoughm with this guy in English by email is every month me paying rent into his bank account, I take a picture for my own records of the bank recept and send it to him in email saying something along the lines of "I've paid the rent today here is the receipt - james" and other times my wife paid and emailed "I've paid rent today here is receipt -Sokaina" etc and he always replies and says "thank you" or "well received" etc

Also I have a personal document in excel showning amounts paid/when/picture of receipt (Had to make this once as he was asking about a months rent i acutally paid the month before in advance he didn't realise.. that cleared everything up with my spreadsheet with pictured receipts!)

Also other email talking about how much longer we would be staying, another email about the neibhbour complaining about noise on the roof when I was putting washing out a few nights in a row very late! silly things but yeah corospondance about living in this apartment together.

The last email was I paid 50% rent last month earlier.. then he emailed me a week ago with "this is a warm reminder you will pay the other 50% rent this week?"

Is this enough evidance? Proof we are living here?

Another thing being in Morocco even if we did have a rental agreement it would only normally have 1 name on it, not 2.

I was thining to ask him for something after we do leave, something written by him, a letter as such saying that since x and x "james ,.." and "sokaina.." have been renting my appartment..

The rent I pay also includes water/electricity. I don't have bills in our name. However last month he complained about the electricity jumping up and wanted us to pay a little extra (jumped by 150% due to a fan heater!).. and he asked again in email to pay a little towards the differance.

What do you think?

Hi, yes I think your evidence, presented in a way that would paint a clear picture for your CO to appreciate your living arrangements, would help. Your plan to have your landlord prepare a sworn statement about your agreements with him, I believe, would likewise help, in addition to a sworn statement from you and your wife attesting to and describing these living arrangements.

Good luck!
