Stage 2 - Permanent Partner Visa Assessment

Hi,
I lodged online my 'Stage 2 - Permanent Partner Visa Assessment ' and after looking for information on the processing time regarding my application, I noticed big differences. However I am actually looking for a job and clearly I can see that the fact not being Permanent Resident does not help me at all.
I also read this processing time could be reduce if some good reasons. I do not know if my reason is a "good reason" but I would like to contact them but I only have this number 131 881 for the general inquiries.
I lodged my application to Melbourne.
Is anyone know how could I do?
Thanks for your time

It seems to vary a lot. A recent applicant from France got hers in only 3 months and that was after they conducted an interview and asked for additional documentation.

A UK client who lodged her own stage 2 paperwork is still waiting after 6 months.

They don't prioritise applications unless you have some very compellling reasons.

DIBP are quoting 801's 12 to 15 months at the moment. Obviously some get it sooner than that but all you can do is wait and wait and wait.

From the 801 waiting thread alot are waiting on PR for a job so I highly doubt they would prioritise your application.

CCMS: Have you seen any reasoning why some are processed faster than others? Ie. One has alot more evidence/documents than others?

It seems pretty random. The application that went through very quickly had very little supporting documentation ( the applicant simply didn't have anything much to give me), but after an interview and a few more documents it went through straight away. I'd like to think that it was because of my good reputation, but there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.
