ACS confusion please help

i already have a 6 year ACS assessment letter which i got in March 2010 and ACS calculated my experience of 6 years from 2004 to Jan 1st 2010
as 6 years. and as per one year validity my ACS has been expired in 2011.

now i am planning to apply for migration once again.

i recently contacted ACS about my renewal and since i am still working in the same company so my experience should be changed to 8 years and reflected in the renewed ACS assessment letter however, ACS responded me back by saying, renewal could not add any additional information into the assessment letter but they will just extend the date of validity of the old document so that i can apply for immigration.

now my requirement is to get 15 point of 8 years experience

so the question is. as this is understood that i am still working in the same company so if i just submit my application to Migration department with current reference letter of my company as a proof that i am still working in same country and 6 years renewed letter of assessment from ACS.

so will Migration Department consider this as 8 years or only consider the calculation of 6 years on letter from ACS.

Thanks
