Singapore SPF COC

Hi!

Need help in obtaining Singapore Certificate of Clearance (COC). As per the SPF's website, application sent by post (from overseas) must be accompanied by a bank draft made payable to ‘Head Criminal Records
CID’ through a Singapore-based bank. In addition to the processing fee, a postage fee of S$5.00 must be included in the payment (total S$50.00) if the COC is to be mailed. Payment is non- refundable once the application is processed.

It might be a silly question but I really need clarification on how to obtain bank draft made payable to ‘Head Criminal Records CID’ through a Singapore-based bank? I just don't get it to get a bank draft through a Singapore based bank... By the way, I am from the Philippines and will be posting the application from here.

Please help.

Thanks!

Hello there, I know how frustrating some of the rules and regulations are to obtain documents from various countries. Do you have any contacts in Singapore who can help you with this?

Otherwise the next thing you can do is to call the COC department and ask them how you can go about doing this, since you're no longer in Singapore and have closed all your accounts there.

Thanks Miss Swan for your reply. My brother is in Singapore.. maybe I will ask him to call COC department or ask him to pay for my husband's COC... I guess he apply on my husband's behalf.
