Certifying family statements for PMV

I'm in the UK and I need to get two statements certified from friends and family to say it's a genuine relationship etc I see the post office offer a document certification service but would that cover this situation? If not does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

In fact upon reading the section again that states

"At the very least, you should submit 2 statements from family and/or friends who are aware of your intended marriage and can attest to your genuine intention to live together in an ongoing spouse relationship."

It doesn't actually state that those statements need to be certified. Would I still need to have them certified?

Read instructions on form 888. We used a teacher to certify.

Dear Markosoft

For Form 888 the signatures need to be witnessed. Which means that the person who fills in the form could take their driver's license or passport or anything that shows their signature to a police station (for example) and simply sign the form with a policeman looking over their shoulder, checking if it's the same signature as it is on the legal document.

On the very first page of the Form 888 under "purpose of this form" there is a list of people with professions that can witness a signature.
