Visa application

We are currently looking into migration and are unsure which is the best way to apply through an agent or on our own please advise and which agent is best to use.

Consulting a registered migration agent for a preliminary assessment is a good idea, even if you subsequently decide not to engage the services of a RMA to manage your case.

Any of the registered migration agents who regularly post on this forum can relied upon.

Dear utengmorris

I asked myself the same question and for financial reasons I decided to do the application on my own.
My visa is now approved, so it is definitely possible. It is a lot of work, but you really can save yourself the money and take it all into your own hands.

I always recommend people use an agent. In my time on forums I have seen hundreds of people refused and lost lots of money that would have been saved by using an agent.

Westy above is an excellent agent

If cost is no concern- use a Registered Migration Agent.

If cost is a concern and you do not have a straight forward case, or very bad with paperwork, or other things that might be alarming like large age gap - save more and use a Registered Migration Agent.

If cost is a concern and all is simple and ample evidence, with a little guidance from this site it is possible to do it all by yourself. But it takes a lot of effort.

Just be aware, there are literally thousands of amendments - including major changes to immigration rules, regs and law passed every year. Immigration publish directly about 0.001% of them as, they work on the principle that ignorance of the law is no defence.

Very Stormy that shyt happens if you use a agent or not in most cases some retro and others not.

So your comment is pointless as to a pass or a fail.
