Online or Post visa?

Hi there I'm currently starting the defacto visa process with my Australian partner and i was wandering if its better to post all the documents or to do it online as we have a lot of paperwork?

Also does every page need to be certified if you have a bill with 5 Pages or can you staple it and get one page signed?

Hello Rossco,

I am doing online! I was confused as well, but when I read this forum, I have decided to do it online. It looks easy gather documents into one PDF.

For online application you don't need to true certificate your colour scanned ID documents. Don't worry about the bills, use them as they are. Do you have e-bills, even better! This is what I did.
You can combine same documents into on a PDF file, which I have found very handy
.Just make sure your PDF files under 5MG, and you can only upload 60 files.

Give the all the documents name, that would be easy for you. For example, Evidence of sponsors id - Passport of XX, or Evidence f address - Gas bill.

Combine your photos into a PDF file. So you can put different photos from different years. That would give a good idea about your relationship.

For paper application, you cannot use stapler, or something like that. You need true certified your ID documents.
Some people put cover pages for each section they have submit. You can do that as well.

I personally recommend Online application, as I have found it pretty much straight forward.

Hope this help.
